Beans Agate Pinto Phaseolus vulgaris  (65 days fresh - 80-105 days dry)   This heirloom bean has long vines that have heavy yields of beans, that do not ripen all at once. Makes a good dry bean for soups and refried beans. Attractive buff and brown mottled seeds with a creamy texture and nutty flavor. They also cook quite quickly compared to many dried bean types. They do very well in areas with a shorter growing season. We acquired these seeds from Seeds of Diversity through a grow out we did for them.
