EEasy to grow. Sow seeds outdoors in early spring when soil temperature is at least 55F to 85F, making it one of the most tolerant vegetable seed varieties for germinating. Plant seeds 1" apart and 1/2" deep in rows 12" apart; thin to 2" apart. Prefers full sun but tolerates partial shade. Swiss chard withstands light frost.
