Long - Fruited Cucumber (62 days) Cucumis sativus Highly recommend this productive smooth - skinned long slender cucumber that first surfaced in the Turtle Tree catalog. The fruits, averaging 9“ 10" and growing up to an edible size of 1' in good fertility, are sweet, crisp and juicy without bitterness, has an exceptional flavor and a small seed cavity. A favorite for fermented pickles.
You can start a second batch of plants 2 to 3 weeks after 1st to extend your cucumber harvest even longer with this variety.

Cucumbers are heat-loving plants. Direct sow 1/2" deep when the soil has warmed up. Thin seedlings to 12 – 36" apart. Trellising the vines saves space.
