Tomato Indian Moon

(75 days) Solanum lycopersicum Indeterminate Blemish free, medium-sized (6 - 8oz) golden-globed, meaty and flavorful fruit. A rare heirloom bred originally by the American Navajo Indians and is quite disease resistant. Has an interior texture which is velvety smooth with few seeds.

Certified organic   30 seeds/pkt

Start seeds indoors 6-7 weeks before last frost. Soil temp needs to be between 25-35°C and grow tomato seedlings under good lights for 10 to 12 hours a day.  Sow 1/4" deep in a light soil mix; harden off & plant out 24 – 48" apart, in rich soil, after all danger of frost is over. Tomatoes benefit from staking.

Cochrane Family Farm is a Certified organic family farm that follows permaculture practices to continually improve the soil. We do not use any chemical sprays or other chemical inputs and grow only hand tended heirloom varieties of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We do not grow any vegetable or herb hybrids. Because of these practices our seeds are well adapted and vigorous.
