Introduced to American gardeners in 1888 by Peter Henderson & Company. Smooth 6-7″ heads of tightly formed white curds are solid, crisp, and tender, excellent quality. Can be over-wintered for early crops in warmer regions. 60-85 days from transplant. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Plant 1/4″ deep. Transplant outdoors 24″ apart just before the last last frost. Full sun, cool temperatures, and regular water.
