A classic culinary herb for poultry, stuffing, soups and to flavour meat, cheese and bean dishes. Also used in dried bouquets and sage bundles. Medicinally, sage is high in vitamins and can be used in blends for menopause and for its anti-bacterial properties. Makes a wonderful tea for a sore throat, canker sores and to stop the flow of breast milk. In the garden, sage’s grey-green leaves are attractive in plantings with other flowers.
