Description

Bibb Lettuce (55 days) An ornamental bibb of spectacular beauty, its apple-green leaves splashed with maroon flecks, a stunner whether in your garden, on your table or in your salad. Small firm mild-flavored heads shaped like Merveille des Quatre Saisons, centers with soft leaves blanching creamy yellow.

Mennonites brought seed in a covered wagon from Lancaster County, PA, to Ontario in 1799.

Certified organic  200+ seeds/pkt

Sow seeds outdoors as soon as soil can be worked in spring. Plant seeds 1″ apart and 1„4″ deep. Seeds will germinate in 7-14 days. Thin to 6-8″ apart for Looseleaf, 10″ apart for Romaine, and 10-12″ apart for Crisphead. Sow continuously for a constant supply of lettuce. Lettuce is best grown in cooler weather and prefers full sun or partial shade.
