A very informative course with a nice combination of class and field time in an intimate setting.
Lisa, Frank and Julie run a beautiful business that is full of passion and you feel that as soon as they start talking about it. Their knowledge is expansive and I am so grateful that they are willing to share it with the community. I will be back!
It was was very nice to experience the hands on knowledge from not only the hosts but the people who were al-so attending. I love learning about the things we are passionate about and being sur-rounded by people with the same interests.

Thank you for an extremely informative and enjoyable day on your farm. Very inspiring. I learned so much and met so many interesting fellow gardeners who shared their experiences. Really great program, I look forward to attending future workshops.
Our school, Via Vita Academy, was eagerly welcomed by Cochrane Family Farm for a tour and to learn about everything they do on the farm. We were excited for the opportunity to get a hands-on, real life approach to exploring farming options in Nova Scotia, especially to introduce concepts of CSA, organic farming, and seed saving to our students. Cochrane Family Farm blew us away with their knowledge, friendliness and initiatives they were taking for sustainability. Our students were encouraged to ask questions, think critically, get their hands dirty, and take an active role in learning from the visit. It was fantastic! We were overjoyed with the whole experience and will most definitely be back. Our students gained valuable information and have a better appreciation for our food and our Earth. Thank you!!
